ANISH BHATT is the Founder and CEO of WatchAnish.com, an online luxury lifestyle publication he founded in London in 2012 after spending several years working as a brand consultant and specializing in the fashion industry. Fascinated with fashion and luxury from an early age,in particular high-end watches, Anish began to style and direct photo-shoots that reflected his unique tastes. His idea was to not only shoot the products individually, but to also create eye-catching imagery that reflected the often over-the-top lifestyles these products were intended to be part of, focusing on creating a method of communication that would be well received by non-traditional watch enthusiasts and the new generation of young entrepreneurs. He began to distribute these distinctive images and videos via photo sharing sites such as Tumblr and Instagram, quickly gaining a loyal and vocal following of well-heeled and targeted admirers. The site’s popularity, along with its social media accounts, has grown rapidly in the last two years, leading WatchAnish to open additional offices in both New York and Geneva, as well as forge new partnerships around the world. Anish consults to a number of a high-end luxury watch and fashion brands, and is often invited to give presentations about the importance of social media and strategies for successfully growing and nurturing an engaged community of followers.
